ASTRID is now available and I couldn't be more excited. I stepped out of my comfort zone for this pattern and my ring light came just in time for inspiration to strike!
With my new light I can take better photos, and I didn't have to wait for a certain time of day to record the VIDEO TUTORIALS that I made for this top (for righties and lefties).
See, I used to wait until about 2pm to set my phone on my coffee table and sit on the floor by my front window to make any videos or even to take any photos. The thing with the videos, though, is that I don't want to subject anyone to my dogs freaking out or my kids deciding it's a good time to scream because they wanted the green cup and not the blue one.
With my ring light, it holds my phone (order other recording device if/when I can get one), therefore acts as a tripod and I can choose how bright I want it to be. I was literally recording parts of the video at 12am but the image is still super clear!
If you couldn't tell I am really excited about it. My back doesn't even hurt after all of those hours of recording. Believe, you me, recording the way I have been hasn't been pleasant. Now I can sit at a table with proper posture, but probably won't, because I like to try to make sure my hands are centered.. But it's at least a bit higher so I don't have to slouch so much!
I got my ring light here if anyone wants to check out the specs. It came with a carrying bag and everything!
As for my new pattern, it is available on this very website! Click here to get there or click here to get it in your Ravelry library.

I would like to add that I have been asked a few times about custom orders recently.
At this time, I am still not taking custom orders BUT I am making some inventory to sell closer to summer and picking up the yarn for the bulk of it this weekend. SO, what colors would you like to see? What styles are your favs?
Little prairie spitfire, hoping to bring you some positivity and feist.
